The MLB at Rickwood Field game is being held on June 20th, 2024 between the St. Louis Cardinals and San Francisco Giants. For those that don't know Rickwood Field is the oldest professional ballpark in the US.
Willie Mays began his baseball career with the Birmingham Black Barons who played their home games at Rickwood Field. This was also the site of the final Negro League World Series game in October 1948, which saw the Black Barons lose to the Homestead Grays.
If you are headed to the game or watching on TV you'll notice the 5 different light towers at the Park which my art depicts.
